I have a droid2.
How do I delete a text message not sent alert?
Any advise is appreciated!

Best way I have found is using Handcent.

1. Install Handcent SMS from Android Marketplace
2. Launch Handcent SMS
3. Press Menu Button >> More + >> Undelivered messages
4. Here you can delete undelivered conversations and end your "messages not sent" woes!

My wife had to use this on her D2 so it does work.  Handcent is free but sucks as a messaging service and we deleted it after we got the notifications off the phone.

4. Here you can delete conversations undelivered and ends your "message not sent" misery!

About a week ago an error message showed up on the pull down screen saying that a text message did not send and to tap to see the message. When I did that it said there was no text message to view.

Now I get the same error message almost every time I unlock the phone.

How do you get rid of this error message when there isn't one to clear?
