Recently my slide out keyboard has gotten very touchy. When I press a key, sometimes I get multiple characters, sometimes I don't get a character at all. On screen keyboard seems fine. Have uninstalled all downloaded apps, no good. Next step is to set it back to factory default. Anyone else seen this behavior?

Im having the same problem.  Actually, I jumped on the forum to make a post about this as well.  Mine has been doubling up on characters for the past week or so and I dont remember the keyboard being this sensitive before.  Ive noticed the spacebar seems to be the worst for me, sometimes it just doesnt work, other times it double or triple spaces. Maybe there was a new software update that messed it up?

could have something to do with the flex cable connection between the keyboard and the screen?  I know the impression had that issue as well- people began to take it apart and replace the cables and it seemed to do the trick...

I got a new phone because of this problem and my new (reconditioned) phone does the same thing. Its not really a sticking key pad in that the key actually sticks so much as it instantly gives you mulltiple letters when you just wanted one. My son has the exact same phone and his does it now really bad. It starts off slowly sticking with only a few certain keys giving you multiple letters and than more and more of them type multiples to the point that you can reall use your key pad. Using the touch screen keyboard is an alternative but the phone should work right for the money you spend.

That is slowly begins to take only a few number of keys will give you several letters, and as more and more of them once the type of women to the point.
